YouTube Now Sees 4 Billion Pageviews Per Day

In what Google could possibly only deem as fantastic news, it has now been reported by Reuters that YouTube sees more than 4 billion views per day. That is a 25% increase in videos viewed per day since May, with 60 hours of fresh video uploaded each minute, up from 48 hours of video added per minute in May, previously. Ads on videos generate $5 billion weekly, albeit only 3 billion videos feature ads each week. This massive growth spurt is attributed to extensive usage of YouTube on smartphone and TV.

Minecraft Beta 1.8 Official Trailer Released — Blue Spiders, Beef, XP Orbs And New Combat!

Is a release for Minecraft Beta 1.8 just around the corner? I think yes, as the first official trailer has been released, and as for its creators, Notch and his team at Mojang AB have been hinting a a release soon. Check out the video above, where a new spider is introduced to the game (read: a blue one), the new combat moves, XP orbs, new eating animations, and NPC villages that will spawn near your first spawn location just in case you need a quick place to stay.

Nokia’s First Windows Phone 7 Device, Dubbed “Sea Ray” Leaked (video)

When Nokia CEO Stephen Elop instructed all employees present to put away their phones and cameras because he was going to show off something and didn’t want it leaked on the “blogosphere”, but that’s exactly what happened. Introducing the Nokia Sea Ray (codename), their first Windows Phone 7 device. It has a Gorilla Glass display, 8 or 12 megapixel camera as according to most reports, Windows Phone 7 Mango and more (meaning the rest that we don’t know about). Mojang AB Demos Minecraft Beta 1.7 (Video)

This wasn’t expected to be posted, but hey, there’s pistons, a new mob, shears and more headed to Minecraft Beta 1.7. However, there are sounds planned for pistons in-game which are currently a work-in-progress, so they are not heard in the video above.

New Battlefield 3 Footage Is Beyond Compare And/or Extremely Awesome
