New Rumor: some new Nikon DSLRs inbound

New Nikon DSLRs, a thought so wonderful it makes me leap for joy. It’s a rumor actually, complete with specs, and a rumor complete with specs is the most exciting thing to have rumors about. Moving on!

The first should be an entry-level DSLR, perhaps a successor the D3000, with better AF, more megapixels, and updating the other important bits. The second is more exciting, supposedly a 16-megapixel, 39-AF point, 1080p/24-shooting super DSLR. it’s likely to be a successor of the heavily-favored D90. The third, we know nothing of, it’s simply speculated that a third new one exists. There’s more to check out at Nikon Rumors, so head over there!

And I’m still waiting for the gadget fairy to bring me my D5000 from Nikon’s review warehouse. How long will that take? Sigh.

Exclusive: HTC Legend Now Will Instead Be In Aluminum? Correct.

A leak by ai.rs blog showcases that the HTC Legend will be available in an aluminum casing, and not only in that green overall. A quick recap of the specs is in the image after the break. An interesting thing is that HTC is planning to make the optical trackpad found on the Legend the same as the Bravo, and it will be a sort of standard. It only makes me want to know more details about the Legend, and of course that means finding a way of getting more intel.

Motorola Opus One specs are out!

image

Honestly the reason why I didn’t provide full coverage of today’s tech news is because I was busy. Full coverage of tech news (and the start of the “Opinion” and “Did you Know?” sections) will begin later this week. To keep you gadget-hungry readers happy, here’s the specs of the Motorola iDEN-based Opus One, from BGR, after the cut. It’s a pretty solid smartphone running Android 1.5 with added iDEN features to say the least.

HTC Legend appears again, this time with the specs

image

The HTC Legend Hero look-alike is straight out of the leaked roadmap from not too long ago, has some pretty decent specs. It uses a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, with the CPU clocking in at 600MHz; internal memory is 512MB with 256MB RAM; 1500 mAh battery; 3.2-inch HVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen; 5.0-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash; microSD slot; Bluetooth 2.1; GPS; G-sensor; digital compass; 3.5mm headphone port; and last but not least an optical trackpad along with a miniUSB port. Now one more thing I’d like to know HTC — will it still have that LaptopMemo green chin when it comes out in March 2010?

Detailed HTC Dragon screens found; the name is actually Dragon

dragon-learn-more

After some intense searching (and leaking), I’ve come across some detailed pics of the HTC Dragon running Android. It’s obvious that it’s running Android 2.0 with Sense UI. The codename is possibly “Zoom 2″, because of the high-res screen, which is 800×480 pixels. But what sucks, is that these pics are too small, and making them larger would distort them.

There is a screen though that gives the official URL for the Dragon, but redirects you back to HTC’s homepage.  So, what all of this means is that the HTC Passion is actually called the Dragon, it’s sporting a very pretty screen, 3G wireless, a 5 megapixel camera, and GPS.
