Motorola DROID Review: A Look Back At The First Droid

The Motorola Droid is going to be succeeded. We know it is. Motorola does, as do Verizon and Adobe (look at Moto’s and VZW’s sites). And hence, the original Droid that so many millions own will be out of date, until its FroYo 2.2 update nears. In fact, the official announcement of “the next generation of Droid” is tomorrow, so let’s go over a quick look at what the Droid was, and what it truely is.

Olympus Stylus Tough 6000 Review

The first camera ever to show up here is a little over a year old. That doesn’t mean the Stylus Tough 6000 has lost its ability to take pictures. It’s waterproof to 10 feet, shockproof to 5 feet, and can withstand temperatures of down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit. Since this is a pretty simple point-and-shoot I’ll just go over price, durability, and the pictures and videos it takes. Check out the review after the break where we see if this $300 camera is worth it.

MSi X600 Notebook Review

MSi released the X600 as the larger cousin of the X340, a line of ultraportables that are slim, inexpensive, and look very good for their price range. To phrase it all up in a simple sentence, the X-Series line is a “poor man’s Macbook Air”. Although the price is much lower than its main competitors, the X600 has power and affordability that has yet to be matched by other ultra-sleek computers. That of course, does not mean everything is “happy go lucky”. Nevertheless, the X600 packs a serious punch.

HTC Sprint Hero hands-on

sprint-hero-front

Well, here’s something I wanted to post for a long time. HTC was kind enough to send in a Sprint Hero, and so far Android 1.5 aka “Cupcake” it’s doing its job. Battery life is an issue, but speed and multitasking overshadows these. HTC’s UI is just amazing, and then the heat generated from the back cover is another issue in another category. The looks aren’t too pretty, but the raw power is;  from the touchscreen to the 5.0 megapixel camera (which can barely take a shot without getting blurry). And did I mention the speed?  I’ll post a review up soon, in the meantime enjoy the shots.

The Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Review by Stef

Firefox Home Page copy

UPDATED: Acid 3 Test Results

After hearing about the Firefox 3.5 release, I was determined to have the best review on it. So now I’ll be using my writing skills in full force!

Let’s explain what exactly Firefox 3.5 is!

1. It’s a web browser meant to display the Internet on your computer screen!

2. It is the successor of the succesful Firefox 3, and competes against browsers like Google Chrome (a review on that can be found here) and Safari 4 (a browser that I also reviewed not too long ago.)

3. It is meant to be the most secure , fastest, and smartest Firefox yet.
