Above is a render of the Motorola MOTOSPLIT found by the Android Community. It’s main feature is the keyboard, which is in a fact a set of screens that each represent part of a keyboard. But by some miraculous design team at Motorola, it looks like the MOTOSPLIT will be able to spit out the keyboard in either portrait or landscape mode. Since Motorola says there will be many new handsets for the year, a lot of them could just possibly be suckers, like the MOTOSPLIT. In this unfortunate case, it share the same specs as the BACKFLIP (as according to this render looks better) which are pretty low-end. Otherwise, Moto is aiming for a Q3 release on AT&T. New Rumor: Samsung Galaxy 2 leaks, packs Android 2.1?
by Stefan Etienne on 28. Jan, 2010 5:32PM in Mobile, Rumors, Samsung
Either this is the work of an expert Photoshop con-artist, or a true leaked image found by Androphones. This rendering, supposedly being the Samsung Galaxy 2 could see a release date at Mobile World Congress in February. The galaxy also could be a very good crowd-pleaser if the specs found are true: 1GHz Snapdragon, 3.7-inch AMOLED display, 5 megapixel cam, Android 2.1, and a massive 32GB of internal storage. But there is another doubt besides the image being fake; Samsung makes its own processors, so why on Earth would Samsung want to outsource something so important that they already make themselves? Looks like we’ll have to wait for this one to come through, fake or not. [Via Androphones]
