That’s all folks. Sony has come to the realization that the PSP Go sucks (insert something not offensive but funny here) so production has ultimately ceased. Sony will still however provide support and updates for the stupid gaming device, but that’s all. Via: Impress Watch

Remember the PSP2 that was recently announced (actually I mean it’s called the NGP, for now)? It’s the successor to the PSP, and it’s the most powerful portable gaming hardware to date. Well, while the hardware is both huge and seemingly awesome, price is a factor. Rumors swirled, and soon your NGP would cost $600. Cue on Sony to blast this one. Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida stated that “It’s not going to be $599,” and obviously that Sony “will shoot for an affordable price that’s appropriate for the handheld gaming space.”

Until now it’s been “Mr. BlurryCam FTW” taking shots, videos, and countless teases of the PlayStation Phone (Xperia Play?). Uh, no thanks man. Courtesy of a site overseas of the U.S., we now have some ultra-clear shots of what an Xperia Play (or PlayStation Phone) looks like. And yes, there’s Android 2.3, as confirmed by one of the shots seen at the source link. Now if only there were a launch date, and some games. *Insert wandering thoughts here.*

As a previous PSP owner myself, I can 100% verify and say that the designer who made this 3DS mockup was thinking of Nintendo making a PSP/DSi portable gaming console. In fact, if this would be the case (which is highly unlikely), I would grab a 3DS in a minute. But since this is just a fan-made render, this little gadget blogger will go back to posting real stories. Or maybe something about cars?

I think all of the blogs are posting this because it’s slow new day. So, here’s the start to “Slow News Day”; it’s a” PSP Go disassembling itself”, then assembling itself again in under 2 minutes. True, it’s not like watching the next iPhone announcement, and it might waste 2 minutes of your precious time, but it’s new nonetheless.
