Verizon Motorola Devour spotted in its retail boxing (update: Moto’s support site live, has Wi-Fi)
I suppose we can stop calling the Calgary the DROID Devour, and instead the Motorola Devour. What it’s going to devour I’m not sure. but from the looks of it, Moto has definitely designed a carnivore. In fact, it uses the same processor found in the Palm Pixi, which is called MSM7627 (yes that’s not English), a next-gen entry-level processor for all phones that are not worthy of the mighty 1GHz Snapdragon, and will probably appear in lots of phones that don’t have Snapdragon chips (or Tegra for that matter). In the meantime AndroCentral made a nice little find — the Devour’s retail box. The only doubt I have about that is that this is a big box, compared to the Droid’s box in the shot after the break. UPDATE: Looks like Motorola has put up the support site for the Motorola DEVOUR, and it’s 10 pages worth. It also confirms the existence of Wi-Fi in the DEVOUR, and there will be a car kit as well.
