That’s right matte screen lovers, the matte screen option for the Macbook Pro 15 has returned. How much you ask? 50 bucks, take it or leave it! I wish it was something like $25, and that you could get it on the 13 inch Macbook Pro. Oh well, it’s better than nothing right? There’s one big drawback though, it doesn’t have that wonderful black glass border:

A new Macbook Family has been announced at the WWDC 09.
Macbook Pro up to 7 hours battery life and 1000 charges, and a new 15 inch display with 60% percent gamut increase and a SD memory slot. New speeds for the CPU go up to 3.06 ghz , 8GB DDr3 ram, up to 500GB 7200 rpm hard drive or 256 GB SSD. Starts at 1700 USD and goes up to 2,229 USD.
2.8GHz CPU, 500GB HD, retains ExpressCard Slot for the new 17-inch Macbook Pro . All of this is shipping today.
Updating Macbook as well with better battery life and new display with an SD card slot also.
Backlit keyboards are standard in Macbook and a Firewire 800. RAM and HD can be upgraded to same levels as Macbook Pro.
Starts at $1,199 and goes up to $1499, available today as well.
The Macbook Air will also be updated today as well as the plastic Macbook with a 2.13 ghz processor basic.
