Looks like this is the new T400 from Lenovo (Yet to be official of course). The T400 is a much-loved classic business laptop created by Lenovo. This T400 is called the “T400s”. Many of you might recognize the extremely old design, but the specs and thickness make the new Apple Macbook Pro 13-inch look silly.

Here’s what’s known as of now:
- Intel SP9400/SP9600 (2.4/2.53GHz) processor
- 14.1″ WXGA+ LED backlit, with integrated webcam
- Intel Integrated Graphics 4500MHD
- 2GB of RAM
- 120 GB 5400 RPM harddrive, with SSD as an option
- CDRW/DVDRW, 9.5mm ultrabay (which is on the right of the machine)
- 1 Gb ethernet
- Intel 5300 AGN, WLAN
- WWAN/3G
- 5-in-1 media card reader
- Fingerprint
- Bluetooth
- Windows Vista Business 32-bit
All in a case that’s 0.83 inches thick and has a CD drive. Ouch, Apple.
Another ouch is that it will only have one graphics card option: The dreadful Intel 4500 which is much weaker than the ATi3470 on the current T400.
As for the ports, here it is:
2 dedicated USB ports, along with one USB/eSATA combo port, VGA, 1394(firewire), mic/headphone, RJ-45, and docking connector (which is not compatible with previous T series laptops).
The left side has one USB and a 2-in-1 connector for a headset with microphones. No modem port, it will be an option.
So far so good, Lenovo, but the biggest con is that it will only have the Intel card.
But, you probably have buyers already….
