Motorola Droid Shadow Appears Again

Remember that dude who published the first user guide picture of the Motorola Shadow? No? Well he’s back, in black. Actually what he’s really done is publish another pic, this time of the side. But along with his new leak, the specs have been altered. Instead of a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, it’s a 4.1 inch. And the 8GB of internal storage is coupled with an 8GB microSD card. Then comes the processor, which could either be a 1Ghz Snapdragon, or a 720MHz TI OMAP3630 (the more possible CPU to show up in the final model). Then comes the 8 megapixel camera, which should stay the same. Whatever specs the Shadow has, it’s still going to be a major rocker.

White iPhone 4G Spotted: This Is Getting Annoyingly Repetitive

It’s another next-gen iPhone, but in — white. There’s not much else to talk about here, not much interesting here, and not too long until the 15 days passes until we see a new iPhone. Thanks, but no thanks. But at least you can say the new the new iPhone 4 will have a faceplate in white other than the 3GS, which uses black and white on the back.

Hey, This Looks Like The Verizon Motorola Droid Shadow (for crying out loud)

Hey there, kind reader. See that up there? That’s the Motorola Shadow. Or in other words, the Motorola Droid Shadow. With an appearance of a regular Moto Droid but with a 4.3-inch touchscreen and an updated MOTOBLUR UI, there are the familiar four buttons that Android uses on its high-end phones, though one of them seen above is only present on MOTOBLUR-skinned phones, further confirming that this is a new MOTOBLUR that is upon us. Other than that, the filename is “Shadow” and you see the “DROID” branding above. Otherwise, “wnrussell” at HowardForums has done good work.

Blackberry T slider makes an ugly appearance running OS 6

The Blackberry T (for Talladega) is that other slider besides the even more ugly 9670. The picture taken on the right which can only be described as being a work of art by Mr. BlurryCam himself, originates from BBLeaks. Also present if you squint your eyes a little (or a lot) are the appearances of Blackberry 6, the new unreleased operating system from RIM. So, Bold 9670 or the equally ugly Blackberry T? It’s not that hard of a choice.

What is this square MOTOBLUR handset? That’s right, square.

This mysterious case of what I’m going to call the “Motorola Mediocre Square” is one of these cases that only official photos and press releases can relieve. Basically, the above shot is from a tipster at DroidDog; the tipster said that the source of the phone was a “buddy’s dad [who] works for Motorola and let his son take the phone to school, who, in turn, lent the phone to [a friend] to be used as a calculator on a math test.” OK, I believe that. Otherwise there’s nothing to report on here other than it has MOTOLUR running on Android 2.1 and looks a lot like the Motorola MOTOSPLIT. Anyone want to tell me what this is?

Verizon taunts us with new devices coming, calls it “Secret Code Name 6″

A quickie news post for you folks on-the-go out there. Verizon Wireless, everybody’s favorite carrier (…) has just let a flyer seen in an email supposedly on a Windows XP-based PC get leaked out onto the interwebs. The form claims that new devices are coming “really soon”. Our bet is that it’s the HTC Incredible, Project Pink phones, Nexus One, and the Blackberry 9650 (and still that’s only 5 phones). Or we could just wait for it to happen?

New ExoPC details emerge into the wild west

Above: ExoPC Slate with UI layer

In this episode of gadget blogging, the ExoPC tablet, the strongest threat to the HP Slate, which in turn is a threat to the iPad, has gotten something to talk about as of today. What’s new? Well, let’s start off with the 11.6-inch capacitive multitouch touchscreen with an output of 1366 x 768 pixels, a GPU powerful enough to watch videos in full-blown edge-to-edge screen format, an Atom CPU for multitasking in Windows 7 and for the app store coming on the unknown launch date, and last but not least, an SDK that supports Flash, Javascript, and HTML programming.

And for your security needs, this tablet won’t use plain-old, same-old Windows 7. Oh no, it has the ExoPC UI layer, to make it easier to use, much like the TouchSmart PC technology on the HP Slate. Good stuff, if you ask us. And it will have to be good, otherwise it’s not.
