Motorola i1 debuts, brings first push-to-talk Android smartphone this summer on Sprint

The first PTT Android smartphone is here! For you die-hard iDEN fans, the i1 will be your first Android friend. Previously the Opus One, the i1 sports this short list of specs: a 3.1-inch HVGA (320 x 480) touchscren, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and 4x zoom, Android 1.5 (darn you, Moto!), WiFi, push-to-talk, meets Military 810F standards for getting severely beat up, and microSD expansion slot. As for the processor, that’s up to us to find that out eventually. Otherwise the MOTOBLUR social UI is definitely sticking around, and the stock browser is Opera 5 Mini instead of the usual Android Webkit, with support for Flash 8, as well as the always-amazing Swype keyboard. You’ll be able to pick this up in Summer on Sprint.
