So finally. Sony has gone out and said something (which is sometimes rare in situations like these) in a recent blog post stating that the reason for PlayStation Network and Qriocity to be down for more than 2 days at the moment (and disrupting my usual pwnage runs) was due to “an external intrusion”. However, this statement does confirm more than one thing: the downtime will continue, as no scheduled restoration of service was mentioned.

Nexus One rooted before it’s even announced?
by Stefan Etienne on 30. Dec, 2009 7:33PM in Android, Google, Mobile
Nexus One and Google have been: Pwned.
We don’t know if it’s true, but the Nexus one seems to have been rooted by some guys at the Modaco forums according to admin Paul. It’s hard to believe, but the picture on the right which came from a forum member seems to be all the confirmation needed. Instructions for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X users is at the second source link. Now how about you hackers hack the Nexus One to have multitouch? Deal?

The Secret Twitter Files from TechCrunch
by Stefan Etienne on 17. Jul, 2009 2:07PM in Internet, News
What do you think about what TechCrunch has done with 300 of Twitter’s confidential files? They have exposed things like a TV show as well as secret agreements with companies like Dell and Nokia.
This is something TechCrunch should get crunched for! The hacker hacked Twitter for a good story, since this is really what I think the hacker intended this for.
Also I will not be posting the documents so I can get hits, so if you would like to see the confidential documents, go to TechCrunch.
Do you think hacking a company to get secret files for a good story is fine or should TechCrunch get crunched?
Here’s a quick poll:
