HP will be the first mainstream company to bring the long-needed USB 3.0. More precisely, the HP Envy 15 will be the first laptop to bring USB 3.0 to everyone. It will be standard on all models that have a Core i7 CPU and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5830 GPU. HP’s Elitebooks — the 8540p and 8540w — will also be getting the same in a couple of weeks. Exciting!

ASUS: The Eeebots are coming

Maybe these are are the bots you were looking for? ASUS, who is working with the Taiwanese government on promoting Android, will be creating Android-based robots that will have voice, video and navigation abilities, and whose main purpose will serve as an educational tool for children to interact with. So it is very interesting, and time will tell more about the Eeebot. But don’t get too excited just yet, because production won’t start in another 2 years.
