Quit Talking About Steve Jobs’ Health, We’re Only Making The Situation Worse

Recently, Apple’s brain/mastermind/CEO left on medical leave. That means he’s sick, or something of that sort. That doesn’t mean those of us in the industry can spark rumors, much to the delight of our editor’s and spikes in our pageviews, or maybe just to le ak out promises, which because of such actions, are broken. Some are genuinely worried, others are shocked, and some try to claim they know what’s wrong with him, while others just don’t give an iCrap about it. Point is, Steve Jobs is on medical leave, and there are no supporting facts to know why he is. Just give it a rest people, because sooner or later, we’ll all know.

That is all I have to say on the matter.

Another Apple event? Gee, wasn’t three for the year enough? Not in Cupertino’s eyes it didn’t; they’ll be talking about the next iteration of the OS X operating system, and from what our eyes tell us, that’s a lion, not snow leopard hiding behind the Apple logo. The event will be held on October 20th, and you can bet your Apple cats we’ll be blogging about it!

White iPhone 4 delayed, AGAIN. Till Later This Year.

The white iPhone 4 is delayed again “till later this year”, as according to the short statement made by Apple below. I can only think of how Steve Jobs and co. are thinking of this. And of course the craziness of the situation as well,along with the almost confirmed fact that the white iPhone 4 requires more unicorn dust to be manufactured.

So that hard make to make iPhone 4, eh? End of the month, in “limited quantities” Steve Jobs mentioned today at 4 Infinite Loop, California, where we were told all iPhone 4 owners get a free bumper case. By the way, I know what you’re thinking. eBay. Rare White iPhone 4. Sold.

So here’s the deal: free bumper cases for iPhone 4, Apple can’t produce enough of these things, so you’ll have to select between a variety of bumpers and cases, and you can apply online next week. Anyone who previously purchased an iPhone 4 bumper case gets refunded.

This is a hit to Apple’s coffers, but also a hit to the iPhone 4: in order for it to work, you need to put a colorful rubberband around it. Alas, at least it’s free.

I have a feeling everyone will have a bumper case around their iPhone 4 now. Albeit that’ll greatly annoy tech enthusiasts like me who find adding Chinese plastic to an expensive gadget distasteful. Oh well.

So here’s the deal:

If you already bought another bumper case, you get a refund.
The offer applies until September 30.
Have an iPhone 4 = bumper case free.
