It’s always great to be successful, especially when you know the product you’re selling is well favored, but when you can’t supply that product to the consumer due to too much demand, that’s when the smiles fade away. I am precisely talking about the Droid Incredible by HTC. Due to part shortages like the 3.7-inch WVGA multitouch screen which is built by Samsung, Droid Incredibles cannot be produced. According to Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam, they “had to pull way back” on store deliveries and instead focus on online sales. In fact, demand has been so tight that within 48 hours of the Incredible’s release, 100,000 handsets were sold. As of the time of this writing, the Verizon web site claims all orders will be fulfilled by June 3rd. Very demanding indeed.
And that’s one day before a certain EVO 4G launches on Sprint…

So there you go. Earlier we were talking about the Desire coming to T-Mobile USA, and now here are two HTC Incredible shots straight from the mess at the Android Forums. If these prove to be real (and are very real-looking if you ask us, though we can’t independently prove if they are real ourselves) there will be two color variations for the Incredible, which are both — dare I say — Incredible. And one of them also resembles
There’s not much here to go by, but this is post worthy. The Economic Daily News (EDN) is claiming that the CDMA version of the Nexus One is en route to Verizon or Google, and Big Red will “market” the Nexus One superphone this month or the earliest in April, which might just click with the March 23rd release date thrashed around not too long ago. As for the Vodafone version; EDN said “soon”.
The main drawback on the Nexus One (now with multitouch, there really aren’t that many) is the network. T-Mobile is not the fastest 3G dude out there, but Verizon’s EV-DO Rev.A network is. Neowin has some buzz from an anonymous Google employee who said that the CDMA version of the Nexus One (for Big Red) is coming on March 23rd. That’s one day before the CTIA wireless convention, which is no less than a month away. Seems pretty plausible and accurate if you ask me.
