Blackberry Curve 9300 Leaks Out, Came With BlackBerry OS 5.0?

So yeah, this is interesting. Jon4lakers as he is usally known is my favorite guy when it comes to gadget videos (especially in his head-to-head matchups!). Anyways, back to my job to delivering you the fine reader, tonight’s 10:29 PM Eastern Time news. The Blackberry Curve 9300 (on the left side) has been leaked out, with only a small trifle of new features. Besides the outdate OS 5.0 making an appearance, the prototype packed some redesigns (reead: different plastics), 3G European bands, WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth. The hands-on video, is at the source link everyone!**

**Oh, and BTW, this is only making RIM look even worse. This is bad publicity if RIM keeps on pumping out outdated and weak phones like these.

Motorola DROID X Now On Pre-Order At BestBuy, For $200

The Motorola DROID X is no wimp, that’s for sure. A 1GHz Snapdragon, 4.3-inch WVGA multitouch screen (with multitouch keyboard), Android 2.1 with a pleasant version of MOTOBLUR, 8 megapixel camera for 720p shootin’, and finally Android 2.2 in the works. So it comes as no surprise that BestBuy has outed its usual “no mail-in rebate crap” deal with the DROID X. For $200 (with taxes and excuses like that) on a 2-year Verizon contract you can pre-order the big X now, without any of those pesky “mail-in rebates”. Pfft.

BlackBerry Storm2 9550 Review

Say the word “Blackberry”. The first thing that comes to mind is an elegant young man walking around New York City with his briefcase, sleek and expensive suit, and his – Blackberry Storm2. The Storm2 improves upon the mistakes of the original Storm, while still retaining its good looks, great network, and reasonable price. The look and feel of the Storm2 is a nearly well-crafted experience;  a strong presence, but not intimidating. In simpler words, it has enough solid features to make it the “flagship” BlackBerry. In-depth review after the break. Oh, and better late then never, right? We’ve finally reviewed a Blackberry.

Blackberry Curve 8530 now on Sprint

image

So here is the entry-level Blackberry, the Curve 8530, now on the speedy Sprint network. Complete with a 2.5-inch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, the usual 3.5mm headphone jack, Blackberry OS 5.0, and oh-so-wonderful Wi-Fi, the 8530 is a prettly well-specced BB. Oh, and it’s cheap too: $50 on a two-year contract with Sprint, after the usual mail-in rebate of course.
