The PlayStation Phone Can Play Games, See?

If there was ever doubt that the PlayStation Phone could play games (which frankly, would be a bit strange) then all doubts should be dashed with this new leak, demonstrating a PlayStation emulator in action playing games.  Questions that might arise for example is why is there an emulator, but that could be answered be un-finished software. Although with a little more time, hopefuls will see what Sony Ericsson has been up to. Via: Edge Mag

Here’s The PlayStation Phone Again, With Pictures You’ll Actually See

Until now it’s been “Mr. BlurryCam FTW” taking shots, videos, and countless teases of the PlayStation Phone (Xperia Play?). Uh, no thanks man. Courtesy of a site overseas of the U.S., we now have some ultra-clear shots of what an Xperia Play (or PlayStation Phone) looks like. And yes, there’s Android 2.3, as confirmed by one of the shots seen at the source link. Now if only there were a launch date, and some games. *Insert wandering thoughts here.*

PlayStation Phone: This Is As Real As It Gets

I’ve come up with a number of titles for this post, all too bad to display here. It’s been a recurring problem on my end; titles that is.

You’ve seen it a few times, you’ve dreamed of it, and now you see it in clear 480p video. The spy that took this video confirmed the PlayStation Phone/Zeus Z1 (?) runs stock Gingerbread by making that oh-so-familiar trip to the settings, revealed the PlayStation icon, played around with the hardware, and gave the world the first (clear and very legible) glimpse of what this thing actually looks like. Needless to say, I’m excited, since I’m part gamer/gadget blogger/enjoy most mobile OSes except Symbian and Blackberry. Oh, and the video is completely mute. Nice.

Hello, PlayStation Phone

Simple put, this is the PlayStation Phone. Built by SonyEricsson as the PlayStation Phone, the prototype seen above has Android (possibly 3.0 Gingerbread or similar) and contains a geeky 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, microSD support, a special Sony Marketplace that will be home to games PlayStation Phone games and it also has a camera at unknown resolution and function. Controls are the same as the PSP Go! and feautre normal shoulder-pad buttons as well as a space in between that may offer multitouch. Hit up my half-buds at Engadget for the full scoop.

Review: Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

It’s Sony Ericsson’s first entry into the Android marketplace here in the United States, and they weren’t fooling around when doing so. If your brain can remember, but last year SE showed us all the first 1GHz Snapdragon in an Android smartphone: the XPERIA X10. But with a release delayed by nearly a year, tons of other Androids took the lead in the Snapdragon race. Here, I tested, annoyed, scrutinized, and tortured the AT&T Xperia X10 for the two weeks I’ve had this loaner.

That could only mean the 13-Year-Old Gadget Blogger’s take on it is after the break.
