iPad 3 to be announced in early March, says All Things D

Once again, renowned tech site All Things D is making a very bold prediction seemingly backed by insider sources: the iPad 3 will be announced by Apple at a press event in early March (specifically in the first week, then launched in the 2nd or 3rd week), which is not too far away. It would have a faster processor, Retina display, and nearly the same design as the iPad 2. We shall see. Via: All Things D

Samsung Galaxy Note seen in AT&T clothing

This could all be the work of a fantastic Photoshop render made to build up hype for no particular reason (which is why I pay less mind to news like this), but a Galaxy Note with AT&T branding has purportedly been spotted in a render. As a quick refresher, the Galaxy Note sports a 5.3-inch display with a 1280 x 800-pixel resolution, an 8-megapixel camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats and a 1.4GHz processor. AT&T’s version of the Galaxy Note will also supposedly contain 4G LTE support to top all of that off.

Panasonic Lumix GX1 Micro Four Thirds Leaked

This is the Panasonic Lumix GX1 with an X-series lens screwed onto it. Besides the fact that it’s a new camera and that there is not much (to anything at all) known about it at the very moment, it must have a touchscreen on the back, which would be used in plenty of ways, unless you use an external EVF. And on top of that, there’s a rumored release date of November 8th. So yes, there’s a lot of cloudy facts surrounding this one. Via: Mu-43

This May Be What The Xoom 2 Looks Like

Curious? We have a right to be so. The Motorola Xoom 2 may be staring out at you through your computer screen right now. Word has it that it contains an HDMI port, SIM card lot, 10.1-inch screen, micro-USB port, and an HD rear-facing camera. But unfortunately through the leaks made at Droid-Life, there isn’t a single statement of internal specifications (read: processors, RAM, etc.). Oh, well. Till sometimes later I suppose.

Apple May Hold Media Event On October 4th, Tim Cook To Present iPhone 5

According to AllThingsD, Tim Cook will hold a media event on the 4th of October to present the next-gen iPhone. While all of this is simply purported, it would make sense since their event was due in the Fall, and that also, they’ll have to unveil a new iPhone sooner or later. Also, the site’s sources stated that after the announcement, the iPhone 5 would be available “in a few weeks”, however everything is subject to change. So, we shall see. Via: AllThingsD
