This could all be the work of a fantastic Photoshop render made to build up hype for no particular reason (which is why I pay less mind to news like this), but a Galaxy Note with AT&T branding has purportedly been spotted in a render. As a quick refresher, the Galaxy Note sports a 5.3-inch display with a 1280 x 800-pixel resolution, an 8-megapixel camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats and a 1.4GHz processor. AT&T’s version of the Galaxy Note will also supposedly contain 4G LTE support to top all of that off.

This is the Panasonic Lumix GX1 with an X-series lens screwed onto it. Besides the fact that it’s a new camera and that there is not much (to anything at all) known about it at the very moment, it must have a touchscreen on the back, which would be used in plenty of ways, unless you use an external EVF. And on top of that, there’s a rumored release date of November 8th. So yes, there’s a lot of cloudy facts surrounding this one. Via: Mu-43

Curious? We have a right to be so. The Motorola Xoom 2 may be staring out at you through your computer screen right now. Word has it that it contains an HDMI port, SIM card lot, 10.1-inch screen, micro-USB port, and an HD rear-facing camera. But unfortunately through the leaks made at Droid-Life, there isn’t a single statement of internal specifications (read: processors, RAM, etc.). Oh, well. Till sometimes later I suppose.

According to AllThingsD, Tim Cook will hold a media event on the 4th of October to present the next-gen iPhone. While all of this is simply purported, it would make sense since their event was due in the Fall, and that also, they’ll have to unveil a new iPhone sooner or later. Also, the site’s sources stated that after the announcement, the iPhone 5 would be available “in a few weeks”, however everything is subject to change. So, we shall see. Via: AllThingsD

Well, will you take a look at that? My fellow geeks at Thisismynext have busted open another exclusive (don’t be surprised, it just happens for them) and took a short but blurry look at the Samsung Galaxy S II variant for Sprint, which in the recent months was dubbed the Samsung Within. As all reports of US-bound Galaxy S II go, the new line of Galaxy S II devices will all have Android 2.3.4 with Touchwiz 4.0, an 8 megapixel camera and front-facing, and the dual-core 1GHz to 1.2GHz ARMv7 setup seen in the European model, as well as possibly coming in every carrier’s flavor of “4G”. In this case, we (and by “we”, I mean “I”) cannot wait for the Galaxy S II to launch here in the States. It’s just boss.

You have the geek, John Gruber from Daring Fireball on one end, then you have MG from TechCrunch. Both believe iOS will feature Twitter integration at a system-level, in the same way that you can share a video on YouTube in iOS, just that in this case it would be sharing anything on Twitter. Also in the cards could be Facebook and others, but most of the concentration goes to Twitter. We’ll all get to see how this plays out once iOS 5 is announced on June 6th, which is less than a week away.
TechCrunch’s side:
We’ve heard from multiple sources that Twitter is likely to have a big-time partner for such a service: Apple. Specifically, we’re hearing that Apple’s new iOS 5 will come with an option to share images to Twitter baked into the OS. This would be similar to the way you can currently share videos on YouTube with one click in iOS. Obviously, a user would have to enable this feature by logging in with their Twitter credentials in iOS. There would then be a “Send to Twitter” option for pictures stored on your device.
Then Gruber’s short quip:
So close to the bigger story, but yet so far. Imagine what else the system could provide if your Twitter account was a system-level service.

The same genius leaksters at Vietnamese tech site Tinhte have not only what they claim is an official white iPhone 4, but with a “preview” version of iOS which contains newer and updated multitasking, which either may be the most official-looking jailbroken ROM for the iPhone ever seen, or it may be just official. Check out the video after the break to see for yourself. Via: Tinhte

A leaked memo dug up by Winrumors suggests that the NoDo Windows Phone 7 update — full of copy and pasting glory — will be headed to the Samsung Focus and LG Quantum on April 19th, while the HTC Surround will find its update in mid-May. Let’s hope this is legit, is all we can say. Via: Winrumors
