Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core 1.5 GHz processor to provide brute force at all times

Nvidia is a company committed to raw power, aren’t they? The above roadmap slide represents upcoming Tegra chipsets, including the Tegra 2 3D for Spring 2011, the Tegra 2 seen on a ton of Android handsets debuted at CES 2011, and finally, an unfrickingbelieveable Tegra 3 processor that is a quad-core Cortex A9, has 3D capability, supports Blu-Ray, and is clocked at 1.5GHz. Damn, Fall of 2011 looks exciting.

Samsung 4G LTE handset leaks, with a clear photo, again

No really, some PR dude (or dudette) is leaking 4G LTE all the way for some gadget blogs (send some our way guys), and this time Gizmodo gets another one in the portfolio. This 4G LTE Samsung handset has a front-facing camera (a first at VZW!), Android 2.2.1 (come on, man!),  no Bing by defualt (yay!) and Touchwiz (fffuuuu). I’d like to applaud Samsung on the SCH-I520 because it does seem to contain dubious amounts of awesome sauce, despite the Touchwiz coating. Via: GizyWhizzyModo

This time the HTC Incredible HD is on in photo, with 4G LTE

So this is new. Besides the coolest arranged PR leak in gadget blogging history from last night, leaking photos of the Incredible HD to all my friendlies at the top gadget blogs, Gizmodo just got a shot of the Incredible HD turned on, with 4G LTE, and Sense UI. As expected this should debut at CES. Via: Giz

Photos Of Motorola’s MOTOPAD Seen Chilling Out With Honeycomb Again

I didn’t expect this (neither did you, ha!). The Motorola MOTOPAD prototype we see above (which measures 10-inches in screen size to be precise), has a Verizon logo, speculated specs of 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, gyroscope, 1280 x 800 screen resolution, 32GB built in storage with microSD card slot (with support for up to 32GB), micro-USB port, mini-HDMI port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and dock contact connectors. As for a naming scheme, it might not be MotoPad; other names possibly being considered are Stingray, Everest or even the weird one — “Trygon.” Good work from user User wnrussell from Howard Forums on this one. HTC EVO 4G Shift seen with accessories, release shouldn’t be too far out

Here’s the tidbit of new news on the HTC Knight/EVO 4G Shift/Speedy, an Android 2.2 handset resembling the Droid Incredible and EVO 4G combined with a 3.7-inch display, 8-megapixel camera, 1GHz brain, slide-out QWERTY keyboard and “4G” WiMAX connectivity from Sprint. HTCPedia (a die-hard site about HTC products) has acquired some shots of the Knight inside of those god-awful cases people buy to protect their beautiful phones.

Essentially with a leak such as this, a release can’t be so far off, as well as an update with Sense to that awesome Gingerbread recipe. Via: BGR

Motorola Olympus Bought At A Flea Market, Running MotoBlur And FroYo

Wait a minute here. Before we get on with the story that my dudes and dudettes at Gizmodo broke, we have to ask ourselves something: did this person really buy the Motorola Olympus at a flea market? No one can be sure, but hey, the reader powered it on, said it used Android 2.2 with MOTOBLUR, has an HDMI-out, a front-facing camera, and the body looks like a larger version of the Motorola Defy with instead a 4-inch screen and Tegra 2 processor. Hit up Giz for the rest of the shots; this looks to be AT&T’s best Android yet. Hopefully they won’t cripple it. Via: Giz

The Shiny LG Star Runs Froyo With A Skin (Sigh), Looks Cool

Look, it’s the LG Star! Considering phones like these never get to keep their prototype naming when going to retail, you can stop dreaming of owning a Star (no pun intended) but LG’s star is pretty powerful because this new leak confirms some of the specs: a Tegra 2 processor, 8MP Camera, 1080p video, front-facing camera, Android 2.2 with LG skin (insert joke about crappy skins other than Sense and Blur here) and lastly — that’s it. Check out the source below for the full plethora of photos.

Nokia’s X7-00 handset chasing cars in Need for Speed, uses a buggy Symbian build

So Nokia. it’s a company not exactly favored by smartphone-goers right now, but still, they’re resilient enough to go ahead and launch the XSeries set of phones that focus on multimedia. Specs of the X7-00 will roughly match that of the Nokia N8 Failure Edition, except the X7-00, being the media smartphone that it is, has 4 Dolby speakers, and a buggy-looking, early build of Symbian running on it. You can see it in action above, if another Nokia device interests you. Via: Nokiasaga

Update: The video’s gone private. Oh well.
