Adobe Photoshop Touch now available for iPad on the App Store

This special incarnation of Photoshop is not nearly as powerful as the desktop versions, but it still allows for multi-layer editing in ways never seen before; using your fingers to create intricate designs and edit images is also possible. Adobe Photoshop Touch will cost you $9.99, on the App Store. Adobe press release can be seen after the break. Via: LifeHacker

Very unusual but expected at some point — Office for iPad, that is. A suite of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint apps (and then some), all optimized for iOS and the iPad’s screen. You could create and edit files in all of the apps aforementioned.
This is — unexpected, much like the things that happened to me today. But no matter! Apple has renamed “Mac OS X” to “OS X” and then has released a new version of said operating system, dubbed OS X 10.8 “Mountain Lion”. Mostly all of the new features are borrowed from iOS: that includes apps like Messages, iCloud, the Notification Center, Reminders, Twitter, Airplay Mirroring, Notes, the Game Center, and Gatekeeper which keeps malicious programs out of sight — all the while looks like iOS as much as possible.

Once again, renowned tech site All Things D is making a very bold prediction seemingly backed by insider sources: the iPad 3 will be announced by Apple at a press event in early March (specifically in the first week, then launched in the 2nd or 3rd week), which is not too far away. It would have a faster processor, Retina display, and nearly the same design as the iPad 2. We shall see. Via:
