This isn’t major news, but perhaps it’s a case of “more than meets the eye”. Twitter Trends, which allows you to see current trends in cities, countries, or specific areas has been expanded with 70 more locations, bringing the whole tally to more than 100. In order to change the local Trends that you see, just go to the Twitter website and look for Trends > the sidebar > click “change> and then you’re done. Via: Twitter Blog

Do you like it? It’s a lot like the green that LaptopMemo uses for its branding, that’s for sure. Otherwise, it looks poorly drawn. Or maybe that has to do with a friendlier feel for consumers? Via:
Samsung’s flagship Android device, the Galaxy S II, just got a big upgrade for those in the United Kingdom when the Galaxy S II launches on May 1st — a 1.2GHz processor. The usual 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 21Mbps HSPA+ radios, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p video recording, front-facing camera and Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Touchwiz 4.0 are the rest of the specs included. According to Samsung, Galaxy S II will “be available in the UK across all major networks and retailers”, for an as-of-yet unknown price.
This is genius. As a few Minecraft fans may not know, Markus ‘Notch’ Persson typically has chats on the Reddit forums dedicated to Minecraft. In this particular scenario he outed some of the rough sales numbers, seen above. It’s an amazing success, of which I have contributed to with purchasing a copy of the game for myself. Keep up the great work Notch, and continue to further refine Minecraft in every beta update that follows. Via:
