Some people scoff at the idea of Hurricane Sandy making landfall on New York City. While its intensity isn’t certain until is actually comes here, a photo taken by NOAA’s GOES-13 satellite this morning, October 28 at 9:02AM EDT displays just how massive it is. See that swirling, round white thing? That’s the hurricane.
Yup. That’s a big storm.
