Android 4.1 Jelly Bean May Dive Into The HTC One X In October

Let me keep this short, simple, and to-the-point. It is not confirmed, but a release date (or month) for the HTC One X (on AT&T as a 4G LTE dual-core smartphone in the United States) is due for an upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Is this promising news? Yes and no; it only applies to non-carrier branded One Xs, usually international, which rules out the AT&T model to a path of decadence, sadly. However, it does pave the way: the update would technically be ready, all AT&T would have to do for weeks on end is test it, per the usual quality rounds they (and other U.S. carriers) put Android operating system updates through.
