Keep in mind that for the past few weeks, Android smartphone manufacturers have been quiet on the fact of Jelly Bean Android 4.1 upgrades to the top-of-line smartphones they’ve recently released with Ice Cream Sandwich. HTC on the other hand, got the return of serve and now has the ball in their hands (pardon me for such a graphic image, but I believe that HTC has the guts to do such a thing) and has announced Jelly Bean will be developed for the HTC One X and One S. According to Jeff Gordon, the HTC Global Online Communications Manager:
“We know HTC fans are excited to get their hands on Google’s latest version of Android. At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean. Please stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and other details about HTC and Jelly Bean.”
Your turn, Motorola, Samsung, ASUS, etc.
