1.6 Million Windows Phone 7 Devices Have Been Sold, According To Gartner

As everyone might know by now, Microsoft has been very shady when it comes to disclosing Windows Phone 7 sales numbers. Well, according to research firm Gartner, Microsoft did indeed ship but did not sell 2 million Windows Phone 7 devices in Q4 of 2010, but they did sell 1.6 million devices to consumers in Q1 of 2011. Also, Gartner is projecting that by 2015, Windows Phone will see shipments in excess of 215 million units, with large thanks from Nokia. Via: Gartner
