Adobe Flash 10.2 Confirmed For Honeycomb, Android 2.2 And Up

So you want Flash 10.2? How does March 18th on the Android Market sound to you? Good. That’s the day that Flash 10.2 will be available for all Android devices that actually support it (Android 2.2 and up), whilst the Motorola Xoom using Android 3.0 “Honeycomb” will have it under a “beta” label; the phones get perfect release version. Via: Adobe

  • Hardware acceleration for H.264 video (Honeycomb only)
  • Deeper integration with the Android browser rendering engine (Honeycomb only)
    • Improved scrolling on web pages
    • Support for HTML and other content composited over Flash Player content
