An essential feature of the Nintendo 3DS will not come at launch, says Nintendo chief Satoru Iwata at a recent investor conference. The feature will come as an OTA update – in May. And interestingly enough, said feature that will be missing is none other than the digital game store.
A web-connected next-gen 3D gaming device with no built-in game store. Disappointment, indeed.
Keep in mind, the 3DS launches on March 27th for $249. That’s a long ways away for two essential features on an already threated (in some ways) device due to the NGP/PSP2 launching at the end of the year. Via: Electronista
