Kindle for Android launches on the Android Market

The Kindle for Android app is to say the least the best reader app you’ll find on an Android phone, much like the iPhone 4 and the iBooks app. Starting today, Android 1.6 users and up can have full access to the app and browse through or download 600,000 of Amazon’s full eBook cataloge. The full bummer here though is that you can’t view or purchase Amazon’s newspapers, magazines, an blog databases. That’s a real failure, if you ask me .But still, this will deserve a nice space on your homescreen now, won’t it?
