That rumor was that Steve Ballmer would be speaking for exactly 7 minutes at the WWDC 2010 conference, which Steve Jobs can proudly label “iPhone Country”. An appearance by the CEO of Microsoft wouldn’t be so shocking, if it didn’t actually happen. And that’s what Microsoft just explained in a tweet: good ‘ol Ballmer isn’t showing up at WWDC.
