The new Kindle for Android app will work on all Android 1.6+ devices, which includes popular handsets like the Motorola Droid, Nexus One, Droid Incredible, and MyTouch 3G. The app itself will strongly resemble the iPhone’s and could possibly be free once it’s released. The app implements the abilities to read, preview, and purchase eBooks just like you would on the Kindle 2 and DX. The same Kindle eBook buying deals and conditions apply, and the app also requires an SD card. A new perfect app for Android? From the looks of it, yes.
