Google has probably just made one of the best improvements you can make to a smartphone OS, as leaked by TechCrunch: add Wi-Fi hotspot tethering and USB tethering, natively. What the mobile carriers will bother to say about this, I don’t know, but since Android 2.2 will be 450% faster, will have Flash 10.1, and new features like this one, there will be no excuse to ignore Android any longer. None. Good work, Google.
