Going straight back to the not extremely over-hyped LG Ally is Kelly @ BGR. Whether Boy Genius and Bettiol let her take this exclusive under her arm, I don’t know, but what we all do know is that the LG Ally has a release date pinned for May 20th, with a 3.2 WVGA touchscreen, Android 2.1 with LG custom-made stupid weather, calendar, and Socialite widgets. There’s a 600MHz processor and 256 MB of RAM doing the dirty work and a slide-out QWERTY complete with a d-pad 50x better looking than the Droid’s. There’s also a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, included 4GB microSD card, Wi-Fi/GPS/3G and a 3.5mm headset jack. My theory is that it will cost somewhere around $149.99 and will drop to $99 at BestBuy.
