Yesterday, when we wrote about Microsoft’s upcoming “It’s Time To Share” event, both the Wall Street Journal and CNET published similar news stories, but claiming that they had sources in-the-know, and claimed that these sources were telling them that it’s the Project Pink phones finally coming out. According to speculation and the articles, the “Project Pink” phones are for “teens” and the “always-connected crowd”. Both phones have QWERTY keyboards and touchscreens, and will run on Verizon’s network, but it is unknown if they run Windows Phone 7 (unlikely) and instead are believed to run a version of Windows CE. There’s only six days left till the event, and you can bet us that we’ll have our ears open to hear what’s going on. Oh, and you can also bet that we’ll be covering it, too.
Microsoft’s April 12th event happens to be for the “Pure” and “Turtle” phones?
