Adobe Flash on the Nexus One doesn’t hurt battery life (video)

While many Nexus One users have been excited for the upcoming Adobe Flash add-on that would bring Flash in its full glory to the N1, one issue has been battery life. A Snapdragon CPU with Flash should chomp the battery in less than an hour, right? Wrong. Adobe’s Flash guru Mark Doherty posted a video (and some numbers) showcasing the effects that Flash has on the battery life of the Android 2.1-based phone. The effects? Not much by any chance. Mark played a 17-minute video on the full YouTube site and got about 3 hours of H.264 playback over WiFi. That would be enough to watch a movie, or two, and do some other stuff. It’s a good sign overall though; the guys at Adobe are serious about making Flash as good as it can be in every sector on mobile devices. Video after the jump.
