Ahead of schedule (January 20th) T-Mobile has given the go to Windows Mobile 6.5, allowing HTC Touch Pro2 users to download the latest version of Microsoft’s mobile phone operating system via T-Mo’s website once you access the phone’s IMEI. So far the only network that is not giving 6.5 to its customers is Sprint, but according to a statement made by Sprint, “significant enhancements to the Touch Pro2 user interface which will allow additional customization / personalization options and more integration with the applications users access most.” Probably meaning they’ll get Windows Mobile 6.6, due at MWC next month.
