FCC taking Nexus One for a spin on its site

The Google Nexus One is currently being tested by the FCC, more importantly, the FCC is calling it the “Nexus One”. Meaning it might be a step closer to finding out the real name of well, the Google Phone. The model number is PB99100, the HTC-built “NEXUSONE” (as it’s listed) uses quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, with UMTS/HSUPA on 850/1700/1900 frequencies. That means the Nexus One will be able to use 2Mbps upload speeds and 7.2Mbps download speeds.

Another thing found out in the report is that it looks like it’s based on T-Mobile’s network because of the radio bands that were noted. Interesting to say the least, right?
