Just when you thought you were already consuming alot of data by using your iPhone, a recent study by the University of California found that Americans use an average of 34 GB of data everyday — the most being TV. Just keep in mind that the 34 GB includes everything from newspapers to video games. The grand total is 3.6 zettabytes of information consumed by American households in 2008 (or 3.6 billion trillion bytes, whichever you prefer). Now that’s alot of — uhh, data.
