Canon has deployed an army of new cameras to take over the world.
The star of the show is the G11, with a 10 megapixel sensor, 2.8-inch vari-angle, 5x optical zoom, RAW support, and a MSRP of $499.99. It’s for professionals, duh.
Next is the $429.99 Powershot S90, it houses a 3-inch LCD, 10 megapixel sensor, DIGIC 4 processing engine, RAW support and 3.8x optical zoom. The SX20 IS will retail for $399.99, has a 12.1 megapixel sensor, 720p (30fps) video, HDMI output, 20x optical zoom and 2.5-inch vari-angle display. Next is the SX120 IS, it houses a 10 megapixel sensor, 3-inch LCD, 10x optical zoom, and AA battery support all for the softer price of $249.99. There are 2 more cameras, the SD980 IS and SD940 IS, but I’m not talking about them here though, because Canon gave me too much of a writing workout, hit the Canon link for the whole press release.
