UPDATE: This picture shows all of the new sponsors of Google Chrome OS. 
The new Google OS, called “Chrome” is now officially going to be released sometime in mid 2010. According to Ars Technica, it will be called “Google Chrome OS” and it will targeted at netbooks, the current new type of “mini computer” that mainly only have Windows XP and simple Intel Atom processors to perform simple tasks like checking email. According to different sources, it might have some compatibilities with Andriod, the new smartphone OS.
But you can be sure if “Chrome OS” were to be released and “virus free”, since Google claims it has a new security platform, it could be a great choice for netbooks.
